I asked him why do you use cloth? His answer was that to save money. Then, to impress her, I gifted her a sanitary napkin gift to wife. I touched the napkins for the first time at the age of 20-30. Maruganatham says, 'I was surprised that the company charges so much money for this. I thought I would make a napkin cheap for my wife. For this test I put a pipe of blood and tied it on a ball waist. When I walk or cycle, the blood falls into the napkin. After this my respect for women increased.

"To build Sanitary Napkins, he made a machine cheaply and delivered it to the rural areas." Muruganantham created 250 machines in 18 months and taught them to use women in rural areas. They carried this machine to those areas of India, where women do not use sanitary napkins to save money.
